Umm...... Happy Halloween! First of all, I can't believe it is already Halloween. This semester has flown by with a lot of craziness in between. Second of all, I love Halloween. I love dressing up and the candy and of course Trick 'o' Treating, but this year I was a scrooge and didn't participate in the festivities. My ward for FHE had a costume party tonight, but I had to work, so no Halloween for me!! I guess the next holiday I have to look forward to is THANKSGIVING! Perhaps my favorite food holiday! Oh believe me, I will definitely participate in Thanksgiving! Now, I have something to really look forward to. Hahaha!

Fall Break

I'm going home this weekend. More than that I'm going camping and hunting this weekend. You probably wouldn't guess that I'm in to that, but I am. Not so much the hunting part, but the camping and spending time with the fam. I'm really excited! I have one more day of classes and work and then I can skeddadle right out of Logan. My sister and I are going to drive out together because my folks will already be there. "Where is there?" you ask. There is a beautiful mountain range on the west desert. Will we see any deer? Hopefully, but will we get anything? Unlikely. We haven't got a deer in a couple of years now, so we will see what happens. I'm taking my camera so that you will see my gorgeous mountain! It will be a good time with the fam! I'm so excited for our traditions like speed Uno, Nertz, and getting up at the crack of dawn to a hot cup of Cocoa! I love life and I'm excited for a couple of days to remember that I'm still a small-town girl that loves to ride horses and to come home!

I love my roommates! This year they have been super awesome! I feel like I have had a ton of roommates so I decided to figure out how many I have had. 1st semester was Jenni, Kenzie, Jena, Sara, and Kathryn. 2nd semester: Kenzie and Jennie moved out and Sabra and Jessica came into our roommate bond. The next set of roommates was during the summer-there was Heather, Ashley, Smalls and Janelle. Fall 2010 brought another four with Katie, Lindsay, Diane and a different Jessica than the previous year. Then there was this summer with Taylor, Taylor, and Jolene. Now we are almost caught up to this year. I have Shelley, Kara, Megan, and Cait all as my roommates. If I figured this out right then I have had 22 roommates since I started college three years ago. I am really good friends with all of them, but I think I probably have the best relationship with Kathryn. We are going on three years of being roommates now and it has been such a blessing. Kathryn is one of the most amazing people I know. She is so busy right now so I don't get to see her very often, but I love it when we do have an opportunity to see each other and chat for a second.

General Conference

I love General Conference. It was so good this time. I mean it is always good, but I felt like I really got a lot of out of it this time. I love that we can listen to a prophet's voice and he can tell us what to do to make our lives better. It has definitely been a blessing in my life. My favorite talk was by Sister Elaine S. Dalton, the Young Women General President. She talked to the fathers, but I loved the way she said it. It is a talk that doesn't really apply to me right now, but I sure hope my future husband was paying attention and taking notes!
